Blood, Boobs and Carnage Blogfest 2015

The Blood, Boobs and Carnage Blogfest has arrived! A new blogfest to jump around on and feast your eyes on posts upon posts of fun! A book, a movie or a TV show. Or two. Or all three. I have two. A movie and a TV show.

First up:

If this ken Russell goodie doesn't fit this blogfest, then I don't know what does! An ancient evil snake goddess taking down all that cross her path even while she is busy getting ready for a big sacrifice. Catherine Oxenberg is plagued with visions from the past. Quite disturbing visions too. You'll know most of the cast. Hugh Grant as the noble whose family had slain the white worm ages before. Catherine Oxenberg as the innocent to be sacrificed. Sammie Davis who was huge in the 80's, you'll recognize from many an English flick. Amanda Donohoe as the snake woman in leather. And wait! Is that..YES! A young pre-Doctor Who Peter Capaldi! In a kilt no less:)

Second up:

Yeah. It's a newish show. But for boobs and carnage it's got both a plenty. Okay, the blood isn't as gory as say, Law and Order, but the bodies pile up and there's usually a bit o' ick at some point. Bo usually has the most boobage going on. But hey, she is the main character and a succubus at that. And even though most of the show is female they aren't there for decoration. They kick ass. Big mean evil ass.

Snake lady? Sounds like something I'd die laughing at actually. Lost Girl looks pretty good though.

    Enjoy the Blogfest!

  2. I have not seen or thought of LAIR in such a long time, really great choice... it's one I am going to have to dig up.

  4. I remember stumbling over LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM when channeling surfing one late Saturday night in my early teens. I nearly had a heart attack but my hormones wouldn't let me! :-)

  5. I remember Lair of the White Worm! It was his first movie after Gothic. (Which also fits.) Good choice.
Thanks for participating in our blogfest.

  6. Crazy cool choices. I saw most of the first season of Lost Girl and lost interest during the season break. Don't know why.

  7. Even the title of that movie is creepy! I think I saw it, a million years ago. :)
I hadn't heard of Lost Girl. I'll have to check it out!

  9. Yes, I saw Lair of the White Worm on TV when I was staying at a friend's house for a while. That was one crazy film as I recall and I do remember being kind of impressed by it. That would have been about 25 years ago!
