Then. It was winter again.
And the winter funk set back in full swing.
Not that we aren't trying to shake it free. During those nice days we took advantage and took to the city. Mom and I walked and we took Jess out.
Did you know we had a science museum? We do! It's very much like a mad scientists attic. Stuff everywhere, but organized into sections of sorts.
The main space was old microscopes, mortar and pestles, fossils, rocks, cameras and a number of items cool to look at, but no idea what they are.
There was the microscope room where we looked at grass, silk and Jess was able to see a bug.
My personal favorite was the old printing press room. There were several rooms. The communication room, the meteorology room, And the high voltage room. The fun room where Nick, the owner, cranked up the static electricity machine and Jess kept getting shocked. Really. On the way home her man asked if she had fun. Her answer, “Yeah. It was fun. I got a little electrocuted.”
It’s definitely a go again this summer place. They are still working on the second floor. so there will be even more things to see.
And thanks to everyone there. They are nice and helpful. Able to answer all questions. Just awesome.
You should check it out here: Niagara Science Museum.
So that is it from this trying to thaw out barrel :)
